This may sound strange, but it does work very well. Take a white dryer sheet such as Bounce. Get the sheet damp, squeeze out any excess water, and rub the shower door in a circular motion. It will suds up. Might have to use a few sheets on a door. When done, just rinse off with plain water and dry it. The sheet is abrasive enough to clean the door and the soapy substance helps cut the soap scum and then leaves a film on the door that helps the water sheet off preventing further soap scum, water spot build up

Go to the nearest janitorial supply store. Get whatever concentrate shower stuff they have. Go home, mix it and spray. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. Wipe with a wet rag, it will sparkle and be so clean. I've seen it take hard water and mold off of a shower that has no sunlight and hasn't been really scrubbed in over 10 years. It's some heavy duty stuff! Good Luck! :)

CLR is the best, expecially if you have hard water. It will dissolve calcium and lime, and with almost no work on your part, except for rinsing the treated area.. Also, Clorox clean-up works really well on everything, if you can stand the smell.. You might want to check and make sure though that Clorox Clean-Up won't discolor your shower door if it is any sort of plastic..
