The price of 99.999 % pure neon gas costs 165.30 €/dm3 in small quantities (1 dm3) and about 2.81 €/dm3 in large quantities (300 dm3). That's some quantity break, eh?

One dm3 is equivalent to one liter. 1 € = $1.30.

Neon is not tremendously expensive. It is a commonly available element and is the gas used in the orange "neon" lights (other colours use different gases). The expensive part would be the container to store it in. Gas bottles can be expensive and need to be inspected regularly. Finding a supplier that will sell to non-commercial or non-industrial clients could also be hard.

By the way, I'm just wondering what you want neon for?
