I have a couple of memories of my grandmother from my wedding in 1994. She had suffered a stroke before I got married and lost a good portion of the use of one side of her body. On our wedding video, you can see the pastor serving her communion in her wheel chair. There is also a great picture of me dancing with her briefly at the reception that I just love. She passed away about 6 months later after having a second stroke.

My mother was my biggest cheerleader. period.
She is the only person who thought what I did was fantastic, and built me up when I was down.

She constantly reminded me through life of how happy she was she gave birth to me, and how that moment was.

What more could anyone ask for? Now she is gone.

I also remember my grandfather who was my mentor....when I was sitting watching tv as a kid, he would come over and stand on my feet, blocking the tv from my sight, so I would pay attention to him for a second! That still makes me laugh.

My best friend Ashley and I would make up nick names for our co-workers. We always had fun at work. Ashley was only 18 years old when she was killed in a boating accident by a negligent boater. Her legacy will always live on.

Going to visit my grandmother in the city every other sunday. As we walked up the stairs to her apartment.... we would always smell the cookies being baked. They were these amazing eurpean style chocolate chip cookies. They were always ready when we got there... I can still remember the aroma.....30 years later...

I miss her...
