we have had 4 kids...I have seen anywhere from 1 to 3 or 4 max...the less the better...I know they are fun, but the baby doesn't really care for them so If all is good to go....the less the better.

Usually only 2, but some doctors will want one if you go overdue or if there seems to be a complication. Also, you probably have the option of requesting another one or getting a 3D one, but your insurance would probably not cover it.
I had the first one at 10 weeks, the second at 19, and then a third at the hospital the night before my cesarean.
Good luck and congratulations!

I think one or two is normal. I had more but they thought there was a problem...had me freaking out and crying...but everything turned out normal.
You have the right to refuse extra ultrasounds if you are worried about exposing the baby to it.

It depends on your insurance and whether or not you have complications or not. My insurance only covered one ultrasound at 20 weeks. They will only cover more if the ultrasound is absolutely necessary.

1 or 2 ultrasounds, depending on your doctor. They will probably only do another if something is wrong or you are high risk.

That sounds about right. I had one right in the beginning, another to find out the sex, and another at 8 months (because the baby was breeched)...but that was six years ago...things might have changed since then.
