i had that same problem last month. But i have never taken any type of birth control. so it couldnt be that your body is getting regulated since your past usage. i would go see a doctor. i have an appointment next week.

It could be several things...one thing is if you are on the pill, the hormone dose could be to high or low...switching types or levels will take care of that...also if you started hanging around someone whos period is right before yours or after...then sometimes your body will try to regulate with theirs, sometime causing you to bleed longer or shorter...also, depending on your age, when you are young sometimes your body will seem regular for even years, but then out of no where it changes the schedule

I've had this happen to me before. After a while it just stopped for me and it went back to my normal time.
