As I make the transition from college into office-culture, do you have any suggestions on wardrobe, clothing budget, shoes, etc? "Appropriate" is not so much an issue as "wearability". I'm willing to spend the money on good quality if I can wear it often. Also, my days of ponytails and no makeup must be shoved to the weekends - any suggestions or good links to help dig me out of the college fashion(less) rut? Much thanks to all who reply.

You can shop at name brand clothes stores for less. You can find tremendous savings on good clothing. You can mix and match skirts, pants, shirts and jackets. You can also ask the office you will be working, what is the attire for their office setting. Sometimes they have it listed on the paper work. You can also pay attention to what employees are wearing who work there. If you go to a hair shop they will take care of your hair needs. Also ask a friend to shop with you that is fashionable or if you know someone who is already in the work world who can assist you.
