I like every kind of movie
It's surprises me how few I don't like out of the hundreds I watched

There are several movies that I like that would be considered 'chick flicks.' The Notebook is one of them and yes I got very misty eyed. Also, The English Patient, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Sleepless in Seattle, ..........
I have found that when I become emotional during a movie I have to do something 'manly' to atone for it (ie. push ups, play a video game, toss a football, drink a beer, and burp) In my own little world it all equals out.
But, to answer the question no that is not true. We do like chick flicks. ESPECIALLY if we are on a date with a woman. Everyone becomes emotional and needs some comforting when they get home. :-)

It depends on the chick flick. I walked out of the theater when Titanic was on because I think the orig. was much better. Give me a movie that has a good plot,acting , directing over a chick flick any day. If you want to get misty eyed I dare you to watch Old Yellar and Where the Red Fern Grows.

The only time I get misty eyed at a dang chick flick is thinking about how I will EVER get back that two hours of my life I just wasted.

I laugh at Howard Stern and South Park. Chick Flicks usually want to feel instead of do and make men the axis of evil. What especially get me mad at them is the portray men and stupid and evil and women as a group good and smart.

i don't like chick flix but my brother does.
i think he's a bit more feminine than myself and i'm certainly a tomboy and can do sports as good as any guy my age .
gender isn't black or white it's got a whole lotta gray

my hubby likes certain chick flicks but they have to have some humour in them...
