Yes, I'm going nuts too. No, it never stops. No, you'll probably never catch up. You just keep moving it from one pile to another, in different spots, so it feels like you actually DID something with it.
I keep a laundry basket in the back of the house... fill it with all the crap that I eventually get around to tossing. About 2-3 times a year, we dump it into the burn barrel in the back yard - let me tell you, that is my FAVORITE way of taming the paperwork!!!

Paperwork is kinda like the dishes........it's always there. Get an organizer and a calendar to help you keep things under control. Assign days of the week for paperwork....make sure you follow it to the letter. You might find that 1 to 2 hourse per week is all it wil take.

Yes my husband and i get frustrated alot but we try to keep things in a filing cabinet in order... Do it over time and you will slowly catch up... Yes it will slow down but it will never completly stop i dont think ... You will always have bills to pay and taxes to file and things like that and bank statements and pay stuns to keep on file.

No, I have many of my bills e-mailed, I pay them on-line. I shred most mail right away and take it to the paper recycling bins at my daughters school.

WE HAVE TWO BINS. ONE FOR IMPORTANT PAPERS AND ONE FOR LOOK AT NEXT WEEK PAPERS. THE LOOK AT NEXT WEEK IS DONE WHEN IT IS DONE OR WHEN IT GOES INTO THE GARBAGE. THE ITEMS WITH DATES GO ON THE CALENDER AUTOMATICALLY AND THE IMPORTANT BIN I LOOKAT WHILE I AM WORKING ON SOMETHING ELSE LIKE WATCHING TV OR LISTENING TO MUSIC. TRY FLYLADY.COM FOR GREAT CLEANING AND ORGANIZING TIPS.
