If I am interested in what they have to say yes. Yet if I am in an anti-social mood, can't get away and alone fast enough. Good thing about this is I watched a documentary that claimed natives of Central Ohio are the most likely to speak faster than any other place in the USA

Most of the time I am very polite and respectful -- and do listen to others ... but ...

There are some people/times that I just can't take it anymore and just 'pretend' to listen while my mind wanders off to check out the remainder of the chores for the day, review the list of groceries that I need to get on the way home, and just about anything EXCEPT to listen!

Most of the time I really listen, but sometimes I just act like I'm listening. It depends on who is talking!

I always try to listen when talking to people, you never know when they might say something REALLY intelligent. LOL
But seriously I do listen to people, even if they are telling me the same story they have told many times before. My theory is it must be important to them if they keep on repeating it. You never know when what someone once said will open a door for you.

even though im a type thats not much of a talker, i love to listen! You can learn so much about a person about the things they talk about and share with you. and when they know that you are a great listener, they tend to open up more. i like having friends that know that they can talk to me about anything and i like helping them any way i can if they have a problem.

I listen to people when they talk to me. UNLESS they are really boring me. But other than that I'm a good listener.

I try my best to listen to them unless the topic is just extremely boring or trivial.

I do not listen when my girlfriends gossip or talk about extremely catty things.
