well I don't know much about sewing but that doesn't really sound like the way to do it. You might want to take them to the cleaners and have them done professionally. If you can't afford to do that..and you want to risk the possibility of destroying your jeans, then go for it...who knows, it might work out.

I have done this before. I take in the seam that goes from the inner leg and across the crotch area. You do need to be very careful and go slow over the thickest areas of fabric so you dont break your needle.

I would recommend getting them tailored by a professional. It may be a little pricey but they know what they are doing and it's better to pay the extra than the have to pay for another pair of jean if you ruin the ones you have.

why not just buy jeans that accually fit you the way you want them to? but if you can sew them and accually make them look good why not.

yes, if you do it at da middle seems its very easy me and my older sis have done it on sevral occasions, dont take them in too far or you will break da needle.
