Can you use DDR2 667 Ram with a boar dthat says uses DDR2 800

If you don't use memory that's rated at least as fast as the board, you risk memory errors. The 667 RAM can't necessarily keep-up with the 800 board speed. Could be risky. I wouldn't chance it.

Probably. 667 and 800 is just the speed. 800 would be the max speed of the memory bus the board can handle.

i agree with goodguy but it must all be compatible with the cpu fsb. to be sure, double check bios or with cpuz to ensure bus fsb and memory timing ratio is 1:1. most likely you miss read cause that board rating should be its limit and not what it runs at
