We all know Music is horrible, especially all the crap produced in the US, and don't get me started on that Indie trash. People go crazy to music, people die over it, because of it, while listening to it, some even commit their own suicides to a particular song! It's a disgrace. Obviously music is too dangerous for us to handle anymore. It will overtake the populous and soon it'll be like the second coming of Jesus, coming to slaughter all those who have moshed. But how are we to ban it? A petition will never go through. This obviously isn't important enough for the government to get involved. We need Ideas people.

What the hell is wrong with you???? Music is amazing in so many ways that it's almost indescribable....
Stop telling everyone how bad music is and look at how music has helped many people through good and bad times...
Ask anyone, music can change lives or just simply make someone's day a little brighter.

Actually I am in favor of banning ears... Ears are a much greater menace. If you ban music you can still hear swearing, and loud mufflers, not to mention those darned kids playing in the parking lot. Getting rid of ears wouldn't be much of a problem. Van Gogh led the way. All we need to do is go around knocking on peoples doors and pasing out tracts and straight razors. I am sure zealots would soon be knocking on our doors, in return, wanting to join our movement. The world will be so much better once we in triumph stand.

Music? Hah! We have bigger issues, my friend. We must ban food! People get sick and die from eating the wrong foods. Eating causes human waste which overloads our sewer systems. Eating is expensive, just think of the money the average family would save if they didn't have to buy groceries. Preparing food and eating it is time consuming, it's time that could be better spent with more important pursuits, like answering dumb questions on Yahoo Answers.

this is certainly an outrageous outlook, and i hope you are being sarcastic. music has been the bassline of humanity, since humanity was born. how do you think slaves came up with plans to evade their masters? through folk singing.
it's an emotional outlet, it's an artistic expression, without music i think that the world would be an extremely boring place.
and mosh pits aren't bad. they are also outlets, for youths to let out their aggression towards the oppression that we/they all are facing (from parents, schoolteachers, the government, etc.)
i listen to music every day...(almost every hour of my day) and without it i think i would go crazy. the people you speak of are weak minded attention seekers who probably have it coming to them.

People who commit suicide to music were probably going to do it anyway. there's a lot of depressed people in the world... personally, music has been great for me! it gets me in a good mood, makes me giddy, helps me relax, keeps me sane... music is GREAT! : )

cheers,
Shauna!
