I had my last period on 12/29 and started taking the pill -loestin24fe on 12/31. On 1/14 (one of my fertile days) we did not use a back up method. I did not get my period, on 1/27 and 1/28 I spotted (brownish discharge) when I used the restroom. Could this be implantation bleeding? I took a HPT Sunday - it was negative. I don't want to continue taking the pill if I could be pregnant.

The pill often leads to lighter periods, especially at first. Mine was just spotting and only lasted 3 days the last time I went on it. Try doing another HPT this Sunday. If it's still negative, wait until next month; if it's still just spotting, you may want to talk to your doctor.

If it was a full period then you're not pregnant. Take another HPT after 1/4 or go to the doctor to get a PT just to be on the safe side.

your body has to adjust to the pill. continue taking your pill and if you don t start your cycle you should definately see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test. they are more accurate
