It is just another day unless you have someone special to share it with. I think it's become to commercialised. Why not spread the love throughout the whole year. It'd be cheaper too. Have you noticed that everything goes up around and on Valentines Days especially roses. It also makes people who don't have anyone special in their lives, left out. well that 's how I feel anyway. ; (

Except for the chocolates in a heart-shaped box, it's pretty much just another day. I'll be working for most of it. We do celebrate with cards & chocolates but it's not as big a deal as birthdays or anniversaries.

It's just another day, except my bf and I make a point to ignore it, because we think it's a commercialised rip off. We don't need a special day to force us to show affection and buy gifts, we do that spontaneously all year : )

Actually, since my favorite rock group is Heart, it's a perfect reason to listen to their music all day long! Other than that, it's just another day!
