Yes, it can feel very wet when the mucus plug comes out. Your discharge is more at this time because of labor getting ready to start. So between the mucus plug and your natural discharge it can get a little messy.
Just get a light pad on for your comfort.
Keep track to see if your losing your plug or you think your water has broken.
When your water breaks call your doctor. Even if you do not have pain. Many women including myself have no pain when the water breaks for hours. Each women is so different.
Just be rest assured it will be very soon. I would take this time to make sure your bags are packed. Congrats hun.

If it hasn't stopped coming out then it's probably the amniotic fluid. It doesn't always come out in a big gush. Even if you aren't having serious contractions call your doctor immediately and explain the situation. Once your water breaks the baby needs to be delivered within 24 hours, otherwise there can be major complications.

If it is clear and watery with a sweet smell, that would be your bag of waters leaking. If it is like pieces of boogie, then its just the rest of your mucus plug comming out! If you are getting contractions, time them. If it were just your mucus plug, I lost mine about 2 weeks ago and still nothing! Also, if you are not sure whether it is just your plug or if it is amniotic fluid, call you doc and head to the hosp, they can do a test with paper and your vaginal secretions to see whether it is amniotic fluid or not!

Girl, you need to go to a doctor or to a hospital ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are actually in labor. You might not be having contractions but that baby is coming real soon. So do something instead of asking questions.

Congrats...You're going to be having your baby soon. If your water breaks or you start getting really bad contractions, GO TO THE HOSPITAL! We don't want you to have to deliver that baby at home. Good Luck! :)

contractions are on the way. When you get a couple in a row (they may be quite far apart), call your doctor. They will lead you from there. Good luck!
