Well I am 18 years old, a very big fan of Corvallis, OR. I don't know, I just think it's a lovely city.

My family and I will come in Chula Vista, CA on summer so I am kinda excited because I've never been in other country.

But I really really want to go to Corvallis................ Will I take the airplane? Is it cheaP? or I'll just drive a car and how many hours/days will it take???

thanks!

Chula Vista is at the very southern tip of California (near the Mexican border).
By car you need to drive north through the entire state of California and half of Oregon.
A 1028 mile trip, driving time about 15 and a half hours.
It would be a lovely drive and you could see many sights along the way.
I have done a mapquest search for you, it gives directions and a map:

Flying would be quicker of course, but then you would still need transport to have a good look around Corvallis.
You would need a flight from San Diego International Airport to Portland, Or.
HUT Airport Shuttle provides transportation from Portland International Airport.
HUT serves Salem and Corvallis; as does Greyhound Buslines.

Or you could go by Amtrak (my favourite mode of transport) from San Diego directly to Corvallis.
You need to put in dates to get a fare/reservation:

For your interest this is the Convention and Visitors Bureau website for Corvallis:

If you drive without stopping it will take 15 hours. Add on necessary stops and it could take up to 18 hours. So flying would be your best bet.

The nearest airport to Chula Vista is San Diego International. The nearest airport to Corvallis is Portland International. The flight would be a couple of hours.
