Star Wars bonded a generation in the late 70's early 80's then it did the same in the new millena . Its a classic fairy tale and that's why it works sooo well. It changed how movies were thought of , made , and marketed. It was one of the first movies were people lined up- DAYS before it opened.You can go any where in the world and say " Luke I am your father !" and everyone knows that's Star Wars.No other main stream movie has done that

That would be me, and my son. We love to watch the movies whenever we can. It is so weird, he has a hard time with his spelling words, but he can tell you the color of just about every Jedi's and Sith's lightsaber, and what each ship is and does.
My favorite line: In Episode II when Obi-Wan and Anakin are walking into the bar, Obi-Wan says "Why do I get the feeling you will be the death of me?"

Well, I do. Even the prequels, because I understood the backstory in light of the post-World War I political climate in Germany, or perhaps the tail end of the Republican era of Rome...sorry, I'm also a history buff...

I like them a lot, watched the very first one 5 times in a row when it came out on pay TV in the 80s.
Darth Vader is so hot, he could breathe into my ears anytime.
