When you kid has a school project, do make them them do it alone, help them or do it for them?

always get an A +++++ I just did one on Solar Energy had to do a poster board visual too before that we had to write poems (good thing I kept all my heartbreak ones I wrote as a kid they came in handy) and last year we made up a fairytale story and an Entrepenuer project complete with a video @ a real business

Help them...doing the whole thing wouldn't let them learn anything. It's just like that saying "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" yeah or something like that...

Work alone for as long as they can and then help where needed - don;t do the whole thing for them

While they're very young - assist them some (like research) but let them do most of it (especially the fun stuff). As they have grown, we have pulled back and made them do more of it.

Well, when I was smaller, my parents always used to help me with what I had questions on.
They wouldn't give me all of the answers, but they would just help me solve the problem and give me tips that i could use in the future.
