It is just stretching of your muscles. I have had three kids in the past four years...got them all the time with all three pregnancies. Worried me too! Hurts doesn't it? Everything will be fine!

OYSH! I've been feeling the same thing (30 weeks). It's not very fun, but it is completely normal. Your body is just preparing itself for labor. Good Luck! :)

Congrats! You are experiencing Braxton-Hix contractions. These are mini-contractions that are the body's way of preparing. Good Luck and enjoy motherhood!

You're stretching now more than ever. My sis had them up till she had her son. Every time she moved, walked, stood, anything they were there. The doc assured her they were normal. But if you're concerned, you might want to call your ob just to double check. Good luck to you!

It could be that the baby is dropping, most of the time it is painless just an annoying ache. If it still like that tomorrow, call your doctor.

If those spasims feel like the baby is like poking out your well whole that is him/her preparing for labor....No, you are not going to go into labor any second, it is just your cervix starting to ripen.

I'll bet it's false labor. Your body is preparing itself for the real thing.

if you havent told dr then you need to, it could be several things. i had that problem and it was just my body adjusting to the pregnancy along with a bladder infection.
