It all depends. Now if the man was 30 and the girl was 14 then that would be different. But the bible does not specifically say how old you have to be to love someone or to be loved by someone that is just society and people who choose to judge others without knowing the full side of the story. No matter whether the guy or the woman is older or younger they have to be aware of what they are getting into and accept the consequences of what people are going to say and how it is going to look but my thing is as long as the two of you are happy and are not doing anything to jepordize the law or others then it should not matter what other people think or say. People are going to say what they want and you should not let that affect how you feel towards the person that you are with and you must be willing to stick with them no matter what. Ages and maturity differ not just with people but with ages as well because you can be a middle aged person and act like a child and be a child and act like a middle aged person so it is all in how much you are willing to take from people and what you are going to do about it be happy or move on simple as that and if there are people who try to throw morals in your face you can honestly say that the bible says nothing about you have to be a certain age to be in love. Because all throught out history the men have always been older than the women and is because of stature and security and that is why younger people get with older people they are looking for protection and security something that they may not be getting from home but no matter how old you are everyone needs and deserves to be loved no matter how old or young you are. and no age does not bother me as a matter of fact my husband is 17 years older than me and i have never loved anyone like i love him

It never used to bother me. I am 38 he is 47. As he gets older though some problems are beginning to develop that he does not seem to want to address. Get some strange looks now a days when we go out, I look younger and he is all gray. Married 20 years , so I guess as long as you stick with it everything can work out.

I am 51 and my husband will be 40 in a couple of weeks and we never think about it. I am young looking so that helps. But the relationship is great.

I pay no attention to it whatsoever.
I married him last week.
The only issue I see is that we have much to learn from one another since we grew up in different years!
