Yes, it was very heartfelt, not only was Paula feeling it, but everyone else did too. Sometimes we don't really realize that we are a winner until we lose what we had won (in this case the man's wife). Dedicating the song to her made him aware that she was his trophy in life and that by having her in his life she made him a winner.

Yes i t was for me he was so sweet to even have been there after his beloved wife had just died!! I also thought he was a pretty good singer too I could not hold back my tears as i saw so many could not either, it was a heartfelt moment for me too.

WIlliam Hung singing 'She Bangs' was a tearjerker. But that aside, the old man last night probably was more sentimental.
