Is there a way to clear off CD's so that I can re-use them. When I put them in to "Copy" something on top of what I have on it....my computer prompts me to insert a blank CD. How can I clean off my CD's to make them blank? THANKS!

Unlike floppies and flashdrives, CD-Rs can't be used more than once. That it, UNLESS you had used them as data discs and not "finalized" them previously. THEN you can add to the CD up to it's size limit (but still can't erase what is already there).

If they are CD-RWs, you CAN re-use them multiple times.

Good luck.

well, if you have a cd recordable you can only replace the file by overwriting it with a file of the same name and you cant delete files on cd-r because its read only. if you have a cd re-writable yo ucan delete and manage files from there.
