yes the two a##holes that killed a good friend of mine and the song is far behind by candlebox. at his funneral this is the song that played as we carried his remains out of the church to his final resting place!

Yeah, "La Luna" by Belinda Carlisle. Nice tune, though not much of it, but then I met a girl (doesn't it always go that way?). We went out - very intense, brief, passionate affair.
I met her while I was posted in Singapore and that song was playing in a restaurant the night we really first felt attracted to each other.
We broke up - it was mutual - but the memories remain...
OK, maybe not ruined, but that certainly did bring some baggage with it that wasn't there before.

Radio stations ruin them ALL THE TIME when they overplay them until you're ready to puke.
There have also been times when they've used a good song in a commercial on TV that I hated, and then I never feel the same way about it again.

yeah, because my friend who was all into girly pop music started dating a guy into harder rock and she tried to be a poser (shes 23 years old btw) and she was telling me how she liked "Panatera" and "The Black Sabbaths" now...I almost puked. It pissed me off.
