On World of WarCraft, it seems all I can do is throw punches, how do I active my weapons?

If you don't have a weapon in your inventory, go out and buy one now! okay, once it is in your inventory, click the "C" button to pull up your character screen - drag the weapon from your inventory into the weapon box of your character screen. you should not have your weapon equipped.

now, pull up the spellbook and abilities screen by hitting "P," you can click and drag your spellbook abilities (depending on your class, anything from gouge and backstab for a rogue to frost nova and firebolt for a mage) into your action bar on the bottom of your screen, so you have more options for combat.

the higher you level, the more you will train in from your class trainer... be sure keep your action bars updated with any new skills, whatnot.

You have to equip an item. Or use spells. It also depends on what class you are. a spellcaster, like a priest, would just use spells in the beginning, while warriors would just attack. But you should start off with a weapon, a mace or staff, depending on what class you are.

Open your character screen (Hotkey is "c") and your bags. Find the melee weapon you want to equip and place it in the 2nd square on the bottom of your character screen.

The 3rd slot is for an offhand or an additional melee weapon if you can dual wield. There is also a slot for your ranged weapon (bow, gun, wand, etc.) and for ammo (arrows, bullets, etc.)

Across the bottom of your screen is (or should be) a "tool bar" for WoW. One of then will be an attack tab for your weapon-just click the tab, or double click an enemy to attack.

wow....dude you need to like read the manual cuz thats sad. i cant really suggest anything else becuz if you dont know how to do that then your goin to run into MANY future problems. or if your lucky you could find someone to help train you. good luck....you'll need it.
