it depends but for me it would have to be unix, XP , then freebsd vista is to new to judge

Unix have been the best os for file system.

Mac is the worst OS, but the nicest graphic

Windows is in the middle. I think Windows is the copy of Unix filesystem and the copy of graphic of Mac.

The best OS system has been and still is the Mack. As a matter of fact, Windows is an almost true copy of the Mac.

Be File System on the BeOS... now called YellowTab trumps all of that crap. Its fully journalized. & has no practical space limitations. You can hit the reset button all day with no data loss, and its optimized for large multimedia applications like multi-track recording.
