Okay, I was at school and someone stole my pocketbook out of the classroom. They took it into the boys bathroom and stole my cell phone and a few other things but not my pocketbook. I had a 2 year plan for that phone and my mom pays for it. I only had it for 5 months. Does she have to keep paying for it or if she stops paying will it make her credit bad? And one more question, since I was at school and my cell phone got stole does the school have to pay for my cell phone since I was on school property?

Tell the company you bought your cell phone to cancel the service since it was stolen. You will have to pay a fee for canceling your subscription, but it will be well worth it considering someone else will be charging to your phone bill.

The school will most likely not pay for it since they are not responsible for your possesions.

Have your mom immediately call the cell phone provider and tell them the phone was stolen, hopefully she has insurance on it and they will replace it. The school situation is a tough one, are you permitted to have cell phones on school property? If not, then no there is no way they can be held responsible, and most likely they wont be able to be held responsible for the actions that took place. I know it sucks, I recently seen someone have two phones stolen at a store, so most important call the cell phone provider and then calling your local law enforcement and making a report will not hurt, might make your phone happen to "re-appear". Don't lie to the parents about it either, because they will find out someway or another. Haha good luck.

Well, first of all that the person who stole your pocketbook is such an idiot. And second, all you have to do call your cellphone company and give them your cellphone number and they send a message out to your phone or they will just replace it with a new phone. It has happened to me before.

i reccommend contacting your phone provider and cancelling your phone! even if you have to pay a cancellation fee, it would be MUCH better than risking having to pay $923875 because the idiot who stole your phone decided to call china. definately, contact the company and work something out with them. your mom should know better than to just stop paying the bill! wait, have you even told her about this?

as for the school thing. they are NOT responsible for your phone. i guarenttee that there is no contract saying that they will replace anything lost or stolen. youre on your own for that one.

well... I think the school's rule is..."" Phones are not allowed "" . . So i guess u can't do anything about it.

And .. Remember, when ur phone's stolen or lost. Which company did you use for the phone line? then Go to the company's store to report lost sim card. And they will replace you another card. But of course, u got to get your own phone.
