I have the same problem. The stuff that you brush on your nails with the nasty taste, DO NOT work. Painting your nails, DOES NOT work. I have tried everything without any success until I purchased the glue on nails.

They are much cheaper than going to the salon and having acrylics put on. Many of them come already painted. You can even find ones that are airbrushed. There is such a big selection out there now. They are easy to apply. The first few times you may get them a bit crooked, but you will get the hang of it over time.

I get many compliments on my nails. They always want to know where I had them done. You should see the look on their faces when I tell them that I did them myself. They look great and I save so much money.

Purchase the full nails, not just the tips. Do not use the self-adhesive ones. They do not stay on. You have to use the glue on ones. I have found that the gel is easiest to use. It stays where you put it. When you first start using them they may only last about a week. As your real nail begins to grow, they stay on much better. You can purchase these nails at drugstores, Walmart, etc.

There is this nail polish they make that tastes very badly so when you put it on you might not want to bite your nails. Another thing you could do is get fake nails put on for a couple of weeks because you can't really bite them, then get them professionally taken off and get a manicure on your real ones. Hopefully once you see how pretty they are when they are long you will not want to bite.

I have a nail biting habit myself and it is awful! I can never grow my nails. I then came across acrylic nails which stop that because they cost a pretty penny per month to get so you dont want to bite your nails! They may weaken your nails but they always look great.

There are a few things you can do, one is to try and grow the nails one at a time, so you would try and grow one as long as possible, then move onto another nail, and eventualy you will not bite them at all. Another teqnique is to do something you absolutly hate whenever you ctahc your self doing it, and subconsiously, your mind will tell you that whenever you bite your nails, something bad will happen.
