See a doctor to work out a pregnancy plan. They know all the right things to do.
Don't over do it with exercise, but keep active. Walks, light yoga, or slow swimming are great ways to keep active. Cardio can make you pass out (experience!). Don't smoke, do drugs, drink alcohol/caffeine, take a prenatal vitamin (not regular vitamins. Your body has different needs now).
DO increase your rest, leafy green veggies, stay hydrated, and relaxation.

Your basically able to do anything you want other than harmful things like drinking smoking or taking any drugs. Talk to your dr. about any medication you are on because you may not be able to take it while you are pregnant. Also if you have a cat watch cleaning the litter box..maybe sure you wear gloves when you do that. And around the middle of your second trimester your going to want to be careful what you lift and push and pull on..My Dr. said no lifting over 25lbs and no pushing or tugging on anything that's really heavy. Also they say to be very careful while dying your hair in the first trimester. So just talk to your Dr. about things that you may be concerned about.

don't lift anything heavy over 20 pounds, don't smoke or drink or do drugs, do not do any excercise that consists of holding your breath, be careful of what medications you take-make sure they wont affect your baby, if you are not sure call a pharmacy and ask, there are alot of things you shouldnt do and i have been pregnant for the last 2 years with an exception of a 2 month interval and i guess i am so used to being pregnant that everything comes natural.

quit drinking alcohol and smoking. Start taking prenantal vitamins and eating healthy...make sure all meats are throughly cooked, stay away from unpasterized foods and drinks. Try and stay stress free. IF you have a cat have someone else change the litter. limit or stop drinking caffine. Although it sounds like a lot, for the most part you can go on with your normal life, you are not disabled. Best of luck! Go over some of this with your dr,.

Lets see... I'll make a list, haha.
- Don't smoke or even be around people who are. Being around cigarette smoke is known to cause low birth weight.
- Don't drink/eat anything with caffeine in it. Caffeine can cause low birth weight and premature labor.
- Wear your seat belt UNDER your belly, not across the middle or on top. If you get in a car accident the belt will lock and can seriously injure your unborn child.
- Don't be around drugs. Any drug that creates smoke you will inhale and that will get into your placenta... which provide nourishment for your child.
- Don't drink alcohol. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is a VERY VERY seriously condition and will never go away. It will hinder your child for the rest of it's life in one way or many different ways. Doctors don't know how much is okay, so they just say don't drink any.
- Don't drink raspberry leaf tea. It can cause you to go into labor.
- Exercise - but not strenuously. Exercise will make your labor easier. Strenuous exercise can bring on contractions.

You should be able to do quite a bit. If you're drinking, smoking or doing any drugs, I would quit those. Stay away from raw foods and soft cheeses. Other than that, I think you should be OK.

You should read about the right foods to eat and what to avoid. You should not eat certain types of fish, they can be harmful to the baby. Just watch what you put into your body and also treat your body with respect, dont lift extremely heavy objects and things of that nature

soft cheese was mentioned because it carries a risk of listeriosis (listeria monocytogenes) which pregnant women are more susceptable to and can cause severe problems.
