I'm faithful to Louis Vuitton. Never out of style, never lose value. Its prices raised by 1% every 3 months. If I'm rich I'd probably go for Hermes.

I prefer Gucci or Coach, though I've seen some good quality purses in thrift stores and large retail chains such as Target. Regardless of where you purchase your bag, check for some key points.
1. Construction: Always check seams and materials for signs of wear, fray, etc. If it's a design element, it will be reinforced. Also consider the type of material. Smooth black leather looks great, but will also scuff easily.
2. Price vs. Use: Unless your last name is Hilton, I wouldn't recommend spending any more than double digits for a bag that will only remain in fashion for one season. Instead, save your money and invest in a high quality bag that will get you through quite a few seasons. Get your fashion statement pieces for a lot less at big box stores.
3. Utility: Yes, it's cute - but will you actually USE it? Unless you can fit all your daily items in it, and in an orderly manner (who wants to rummage for the cell phone?) the bag will quickly find itself in the back of the closet, buried under the neon yellow 80s puff jacket.

all purses are about the same quality. it's a matter of "what are some good looking purses" i think the ones they have in Macy's are great but for a retail store, Target is a good place to purchase.

Right now my favorite is a red croco Dooney.Wear it all the time.I'm hoping to get a black satchel COACH for my birthday.I loved Coach purses so much but they're not as nice as they use to be.I would never buy a Louis Vuitton,I'd rather buy a piece of furniture.I own alot of black and brown purses.

Any purse that's straps are not broken! That's my take on the subject, but if you asked my 23 yr old sister in law she'd say anything that costs at least 300 dollars. LMFAO.

Naturally a good purse is a Coach, Louis Vultan, Gucci and Baby Phat.Or really, one that fits your needs, meaning the size, the style and teh space that it contains for you.
