Well, doing it while standing up will NOT work, Breastfeeding is NOT a way to prevent pregnancy as you can still be ovulating even before your period returns after having a baby....Here are the options that I was given after having my children : Pill...IUD...Depo Shot...sterilization...abstinence...condoms...I chose the Pill, it was the best for me....be sure to research all of your options...some of them have some yucky side effects.

Talk to your doc about a low-hormone pill, or the shot. There are spermacide gels sold next to the condoms, but you have to use them every time (birth control won't work if it's not used, right?!). Breastfeeding only works until your periods return. Then you NEED a pill, or some other form. My doctor had a chart with all the birth control methods listed on it. See if your doctor has one, or just ask. Nothing beats a professional opinion. Whatever you choose, always use two forms (i.e. pill & pull out), to ensure the maximum protection. Keep in mind, nothing is guaranteed.
