I am a nurse and will try to answer your question. Anytime you have sex with or without protection you run a risk of pregnancy. You can also become pregnant during your period. This rarely occurs but does occur. I was a period baby! Plus women who are on birth control do not always experience a "true" period but instead they experience "break threw" bleeding and you can become pregnant during this bleeding. So to answer your question if your having sex than yes you run the chance of pregnany but just because your period is late does not increase your chances than over any other time. If your period is late though by several days you may want to consider a pregnancy test asap!

Well, it depends, like if your cycle got messed up this month. You usually ovulate right in the middle of your cycle; for example, if there are 28 days between your periods, you would probably ovulate on the 14th day, so you could have sex on the day before, the day of and the day after and the likelihood of getting pregnant would be pretty great. But our bodies are crazy. But having sex at the tail end of your period would not increase your chances of pregnancy, so far as I know. I'm just another woman, no med training.

You can only get pregnant a couple of days a month when you are ovulating. If your period is due, then you already ovulated 10-14 days ago (on average) and having sex at this point is a mute point, either you are or are not pregnant. You could have sex ten times a day, if you are not ovulating nothing is going to happen. The only way to increase your chances to is have more sex when you are ovulating, not when your period is due.

I am not a healthcare professional but I can tell you the best time to get pregnant. It is the time after your period when you are ovulating. This usually beings 12-14 days after your last period. Also, if you want to increase your chances of getting pregnant. Do not have sex with your husband very often. You want his sperm to be at its best, which means waiting one to two days after the last time you had sex with him so that his sperm is ready to go all the way! Have a nice night!

There's lots of reason for a late menstrual cycle.Stress, weight loss, sickness, pregnancy.

You are only fertile a couple of days out of your cycle .The rule of thumb is 2-4 days before ovulation, because sperm can live up to 72 hours inside the body and they can beat the egg there.
Your fertile days are approx day 10 of your cycle assuming it's a regular 28-32 day cycle. If you're not having your period and you're expecting it, you've probably already missed your fertile days. But the human body is mysterious and it does strange things. If you're really trying then go for it. If it's too late then consider it practice for next month.

there are various stuff that could delay a era. rigidity, sickness, weight issues... i've got been previous due by as much as a week and a 0.5 in the past (10 days previous due) it incredibly is significant which you be conscious of, pull-n-pray isn't an effective variety of start administration. it incredibly is decrease than 70% effective, so despite if he ejaculated exterior of you, being pregnant is accessible. Little prevalent reality, rigidity can delay a era, yet in basic terms by delaying once you ovulate. So if your final era substitute into October 1st, you may generally ovulate around the 14th. in case you have been below greater rigidity than customary, it could delay your era by delaying once you ovulate. So instead of beginning on the twenty 8th such as you may, you may initiate later. no you are able to make it easier to be conscious of once you're pregnant or while your era will come. in basic terms nature can. the ultimate thank you to ease your strategies is to take a being pregnant try. If it comes back beneficial, you are able to look into different techniques, and if it comes back adverse your strategies would be relaxed!

I assume that you are not taking birth control, because if you were taking birth control then your period would start as soon as you stopped. So there is no increase in chance of pregnacy if you are using safe sex. If you are taking birth control, and have stopped taking the preventive pills,,, and have not had your period,,, you should go see a doctor and stop using birth control until you take a pregnancy test.

No, it won't increase your chances of becoming pregnant. If you've missed your period due to pregnancy, you're already pregnant. If you are at the point in your cycle where you are expecting your period within a few days, you've probably already ovulated that month. Although...All women are different. Good Luck! :)
