You have to answer a few questions yourself before we can answer the question.
1. Anybody and everybody call themselves an MNC these days. Assess yourself the rating of your "MNC". The lower it is , the better it is for you to quit and do Higher studies.
2. What higher studies? MBA or Engg? India or Abroad ?Field of specialisation?
3. When did you finish engg? The longer the gap , the more difficult it becomes to study .
4. How motivated are you to do higher studies? Are you really interested or are you just bored with the present job and so want to pursue Masters / Doctorate?

There are many more questions but answering the above will help you in starting the self assessment process, enabling you to take a reasoned decision.
