I just started public school in 8th grade. I was at a small Christian school and everyone acted a lttle differently than the people at the public school do how can I act like a Christian but still be outgoing and friends with everyonr there?

i had this prob. and you know what worked for me? i would give someone a compliment..... like............"i love that shirt...i saw one like that on some tv show" or "i saw those boots in (whatever store) and now i wish i got them" that is such an easy way to spark up a conversation, and at the same time you are saying something nice to someone.

Your still human. Religion evolves with the times, a little more modern. Being a Christian is doing the right thing and being helpful. Doesn't mean you don't live. You can't put your self in a straight jacket. Have fun.

i have that problem. altho i don't go to school, i have trouble going up to people and trying to make friends. since my dad is in the military, i have to make friends every 3 years. i build up some courage, and then go up to people and give it a shot, sometimes it works and sometimes it does'nt, but you'll never know until you try.
