On the contrary - most of us have an increased sex drive! We no longer have to worry about pregnancy, and our estrogen levels have dropped a bit, so the effects of the bit of testosterone we produce are more pronounced, and one of those effects is an increase in sex drive. Also, I don't have to take time out every month for a menstrual cycle. Life is good!

Depends what 50 and 60 year olds your talking about. To some women in their 20's, 30's, and 40's sex is not enjoyable.

Any woman who enjoyed sex in her 20s,will still enjoy it in her 50s,60s and beyond. It depends upon the partner, ultimately. You have heard the expression " There are no frigid women, only clumsy lovers.",no? Maybe the women interviewed either had disinterested or inept partners or they never really had that much interest in the first place. If a couple has each others best interests at heart, sex is just as pleasurable at 70 as it was at 17. And,hey! 50 ain't old!!!

I say sex is good at any age! If men can enjoy it in their 50's and 60's, than I don't see why women would be any different.

I'd really like to know more about this. I'm newly divorced from a much younger woman and want to learn more about women in my own age group. Is desire still strong after menopause? Is the need for intimacy more of a desire than sex itself? What do more mature women need to feel loved and content?

My parents are both in their 50's and they carry on like a couple of 'freaks' lol. Seriously, they never used to be like this, it's like they hit 50 and just went crazy! Gives us all hope for the future.

Some women may find that their sex drive decreases, but others will find it increases, I guess it's just luck of the draw lol.

HTH : )

Sure, sex can be enjoyable in your 50's and 60's, although....women hit their sexual peak in their mid 40's.

Men hit their sexual peak in their 20's and tend to decline as they age.

even in spite of the undeniable fact that your dad feels like a sturdy father (the reality which you all can talk sexuality), I could disagree with him. As you suggested, women persons are lots different immediately than they have been many years in the past. we've greater freedom to locate sexuality and not in basic terms be restricted to doing despite adult adult males desire us to do. we can incredibly take over and be on top of issues, and maximum adult adult males are extremely joyful by that. I watch porn, and that i rattling beneficial like it. i be conscious of 3 adult adult males who're grew to become off by porn and incredibly have the actual element. some adult adult males i be conscious of think of it incredibly is grimy. it incredibly relies upon upon a guy or woman's sexual rigidity. And it could additionally rely upon a woman's shallowness. many women persons are against it and use excuses like "it incredibly is grimy" to conceal up the reality that they are self-wide awake approximately their very own bodies. Seeing yet another female on television that has a greater robust physique than they hurts their self-image. they additionally be conscious of that their boyfriends watch porn and ladies persons tend to think of that they have got substitute into unattractive merely through fact they don't look like a porn celebrity. i think of a few adult adult males think of this way, too, concerning male porn stars. All in all, I accept as true with each little thing you have suggested. It merely relies upon on the guy's intercourse rigidity and limitations ;-)
