If this is something that happens now and then, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it is repeatable and the cramps are severe I would recommend getting yourself checked.
Muscle cramps in general happen when you move them in unpredictable and sudden ways. So a gradual buildup to the climax or some sort of warming up activity might help.
You may even want to consider some stretching or yoga etc.
Don't let this ruin your climaxes.

we strain when we have an orgasm, its possible that when you strain you stretch your muscle to the point wherein you get cramps...
you must b expierencing out of this world climax to have cramps after ! good for you, some people have to fake an orgasm...
however, if it really bothers you, i recommend stretching exercises befor sex to avoid cramps...

I get that too. Your uterus elevates when you're highly aroused, which stretches it. Afterwards, it returns to its regular position, causing the muscle to contract, which causes the cramping. Try increasing your calcium; that's what helped me.

Having an orgasm can cause your uterus to contract. It's normal although the only time that I have ever noticed it myself is when I am pregnant.
