Use a steamer you know the handheld ones no chemicals heat kills the bugs. Probably do it on a daily basis and wipe after each time. ; )

If you know it is there it is already a health concern...hope you don't have kids...it is brutal with them...
I had some coming from a slider and festering in my wood floor last year, they had to rip up the floor, bleach like for 4 days, and then replace the boards...(after putting down protective black paper)...it was a mess...but...
With the mold I got sick...then sicker...my eyes were always swolen, my nose always running and I started getting these really bad welts on my face...it is not a small thing...if it is on your walls you really need to get em ripped out and repleaced...you have aleak where moisture is getting in, you need to identify the source and fix that, then do the repairs, it is not easy, but soooooo worth it...good luck...mold sucks...

A solution of bleach and water will get rid of it but it's not a long-term fix. You'll have to clean the areas where it grows at least once a week. Also try using a dehumidifier in your room, to lower the moisture content, which causes the mold to grow.

Like everyone else says clorox and water.

But then the problem really is how to get rid of the water leak that caused the mold. Mold rarely grows out of nowhere.

You are putting a bandage on the problem, not curing the problem.

After cleaning it with a diluted bleach/water mix, apply a coat of Kilz. (Available anywhere they sell paint) Kilz is a primer that destroys mold and mildew, and keeps it away. Once it dries, touch up the wall paint to match the rest of the room. This is a permanent solution to your problem.

Everyone is saying clorox and water in a spray bottle which is good. But a good alternative is borax and water in a spray bottle. Is is better for your lungs since you will inevitably be inhaling particles as you spray. It is good to sprinkle in with your laundry to whiten your clothes and just alot of odd jobs. It is reasonably priced and a box goes a LONG way. Hope this helps!

I agree with spraying with the bleach water mixture. But you have to repeat daily for several days to kill the "mother" spore. Once it looks like the mother spore is killed, paint with kilz primer and paint a final coat over that. Just be sure to kill the mother spore or it will grow back and spread further.

One part bleach with four parts water, wipe wall but start from outside to centre of 'stain' to prevent spreading. Make sure you air the room to prevent it's return.
