I am not receiving pictures in my email and some attachments. I think since I downloade Explorer 7. Why?
This is through my AOL email account and ever happened before. I have been all through the internet options and Mcfee security program. The settings are fine on either. I am pretty sure this started since I downloaded Internet Explorer 7. I have heard other people have had this problem, but can't find how to fix it. Help...this is so annoying...I do graphic art and photogaphy and people expect me to be able to get their photos.

Oh, I do get some attachments, and I get advertisments and links, just no photo's and some emails that show they have attachments in the "new mail" list...don't have them when I open them up.

I did the changing my security settings thing through tools. I know my way around a computer and internet probably better than the average person...but not as well as an expert, so I am pretty sure this is not a security setting or firewall problem.

Go to your "tools" and under "internet options" check your "cookies" you made to lower the risk to allow some pictures to be viewed; you can also (again under internet options) , look in your security folder (I believe it's under settings or custom settings and allow for that site to be viewed), or perhaps you haven't noticed it yet but mayber there is a little warning or request, perhaps just under your comand/tool bar or just above your task bar requesting you to to confirm if you would like to "view photos" or "images" if so just click on allow images and they will appear only for that site....but WARNING....some pop-ups use images to track your IP Address and therefore you could be allowing a virus or worm enter your system....if all else fails...so to www.microsoft.com and click on Explorer 7....and it will guide you through all you need to know...(you may want to bookmark that site...I've found it to be helpful in many cases!)

Good Luck...and get back to me if you need to :)
