go to a doctor take a few weeks or months off and don't lift anything heavy until you heal. frequent ice won't help. sit out some games if you can.

Place the ice on the part of your arm that hurts. Press down and hold it there for a good 20 minutes. Icing your arm helps but if it really hurts, you may have some arm injury.

Never leave ice on your skin for more than 20 minutes at a time. Wait until your skin has warmed to the same temperature as the surrounding skin before repeating.
But, you really should see your doctor about this. And you may also need to be seen by a sports medicine doctor.

If always hurts like with unrelated baseball activites you should cut back on the throwing and possibly seek some guidance of a trainer. If it just hurts after or when throwing, you need to ice your arm about 20-30 minutes everytime after throwing. Your arm proably just isnt in shape. So cut back on the distance at first and always always ice after throwing/practice.

Where does it hurt?? At your age it really shouldn't hurt. If it is your shoulder, you may have a rotator cuff problem and maybe should see a doctor. If it on the inside of your elbow-I used to get this (though not at your age , unless you are really not good at schooling), kind of a dead arm. I just managed through those seasons wearing a "tensor" helped-kind of an elastic bandage. Now I make sure I stretch out my arm first-stretch then light tosses from close and eventually move to larger distances and harder tosses. Your coach should be able to help you here as well. It may require off season rest before fully recovering.

I was a pitcher back in the day and i would go 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. If it really hurt i would mix in 20 minutes of heat. Advil does wonders, but don't rely on it. My suggestion would be to lay off the "junk" for awhile and use this time to heal up. Curve balls stress the arm as do sliders. Heal up, play some catch gradually increasing to long toss to really strengthen up that arm to help avoid future injury. Be sure to stretch out correctly, because many injuries are due to incorrect stretching technique. Keep at it kid, rock-n-fire!

First of all you should be running when your arm hurts...Run a mile or two every night and then put ice on for like 20 minutes on and then wait 20 minutes and then 20 on again...Do it about 3 times...It works great...A little Ibuprofen never hurt either.

If your arm hurts i would recemend icing it for around 20 minutes until you can feal your arm, and take a rest for a few days and if it still hurts than take more than a few days off.

10 minutes on ice, 10 minutes on heat, just keep changing....it will feel better. i pulled a hamstring in baseball and i did that and i was good by the morning

10 minutes then after that wait 5 minutes then 10 minutes with it on again then wait till i starts to hurt again do the same thing.
