where it says pie symbol its actually a pie symbol that is supposed to be there.

circumference = 2 * pi * radius

So,

36*pi = 2* pi * radius

18= radius

Circumference=2*Pi*r
Therefore,r=Circumference/2*Pi
=36 Pi/2*Pi
=18 m

The formula to use is c=2 pi r
and you have 36 pi so
2 pi r = 36 pi
divide both sides by 2 pi
r=18
So the radius is 18 meters.

first of all, pi is spelled p-i. circumference is 2pir, so just divide 36 in half to get the radius, or 18.
