As a Baylor grad, I lean towards the Bears but I tell my students to pick a university on its merit rather than athletic performance and to consider what you want to do in life.
Baylor has a great law school and seminary. UT is great for business and law too. A&M is engineering, agriculture, and vet studies. Tech is great for computers and research. Rice has an Oxford style of education.
Choose wisely.

Rice University is the best university in Texas. UT in Austin is the second best.

The only one I've heard much about is Texas A&M University. For the name of such an institution to reach someone so far removed from it such as myself indicates that it must either be very good or very bad...otherwise, I'd have never heard of it.
I've heard it's a good one though...

hands down university of texas at austin.
plus cool city if you like good music.
super awesome art/design department, i was at the art school there for a semester...
perfect if you're looking at a fashion design career ;)
