If a Playstation 3 premium model is $599.00 and has free online play and an X-Box 360 premium model is $399.00 and costs $50.00 a year. How many years until the X-Box becomes more expensive than the Playstation if you use the Online Play Features? Forget live man, there are more things which make ps3 a much better deal...
When you compare the two systems and are worried about price, it comes out to be a better deal for the ps3
When comparing the 2 better systems of each, these are the ps3 advantages: (aka, ps3 has more things included for only $200 more
-40 more gigabytes on hard disk drive
-100% backwords compatibility with ps2 and ps1 games
-Built-in WiFi card ($100 add-on to xbox 360 premium)
-Built in hi-def movie player = blu-ray ($149 HD-DVD drive add on to xbox)
-HDMI Output (xbox cant achive hightest res: 1080p)
-Memory Stick reader (...xbox cant do that, period)
- No need to pay $$$ for online gaming, friends, messages, all that is free on ps3 (monthly fee for xbox live)
-PS3 discs (blu-ray) can hold 50GB of data (more resolution and more depth and story and niceness of games) where as xbox 360 games are the normal 8GB dvds (pitiful)
-Hook up to the psp to add more features in future games, such as a second screen for a map or something like you saw on the Nintendo DS
-Games suck right now but will eventually catch up with 360s games.

After 3 years and 1 month, the 360 would be more than the PS3. You get the first month free, so to cost 200 bucks, it will require 4 memberships, but since you pay at the beginning of the year, it will only take 3 years and 1 month.
Sony doesn't plan to release a PS4 until at least 2010 at the earliest.
MS might release the next X-Box either in 2009 to get a head jump on the other consoles or it might be 2010 because that's when it will be 5 years after the release of the 360, and 5 years is normally how long before a new console is released.
The Wii will probably release their next system in 2009 or 2010. Again, it will depend on how well the Wii is doing. If it's doing really well, then it might be 2010. But if it's losing the war against the PS3 or 360, then it might be 2009 so that it can get a jump start on the other systems.
MS is most likely going to dictate when the new systems will come out. If MS decides that 2009 is the year, then expect Sony and Nintendo to attempt to follow in MS's footsteps. They don't want to give MS too much of a head start.

5 years , in 4 years xbox 360 is way better than ps 3 cuz it has gears of war this game has sign more peope online than any other game. and we are still waiting for halo3. i think you should watch spike tv g3 it tells you about all tthe brand new games that come out for all systems they rate them. i think ps3 has one game that got a 5 out of 5

360 if u bought it on the day it came out u could probably spend $200 on the online i think there pretty balanced out
