The fact of the matter is it is easy to go from
being hard to being easy,
but it's almost impossible to go from
being easy to being hard.
This is a philosophy for bosses. You start out being the boss (hard ***) get what you want then soften up (be easy). On the other hand people will rebel against you if you start out as their buddy (easy) then try to be their boss (hard).

Easy to be hard - SO much easier to say "no" and always look out for #1-ME!!
Hard to be easy - Couldn't possibly give up my incredible life to be subservient to someone else's!!
