Ok well I am not sure what your price range is for purchasing a dress but I like that you want something colorful and out there! I found a few dresses in different lengths and in all price ranges:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2921432/0~2378467~2378483~2379598~2381736?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2381736&P=1
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2919135/0~2378467~2378483~2379598~2381736?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2381736&P=4
(maybe not these particular colors, where the fitted waist flairs out over the hips you give you instant curves)
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2880446/0~2378467~2378483~2379598~2381736?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2381736&P=6
(the ruching on the bodice, slims the waist and the vertical fluttering on the bottom is a cute detail and comes in different colors)
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2864005/0~2378467~2378483~2379598~2381736?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2381736&P=7
(the blue/green mesh give the a flare of color, and the twisted accent flatters the waist)
http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&langId=-1&storeId=301&productId=501002217&N=1590514&searchUrl=%2Fendeca%2FEndecaStartServlet%3FN%3D1590514&R=JM-149
(maybe a different color, but again the ruching slims the waist, the hem is fun and young looking, and the mesh halter top can cover up a smaller cleavage)

Go out (if there is time ) and find a pattern and have it made. I had mine made. I had a 1500 century English dress made with the flowing arms like Maid Marian. Tapestry fabric and satin inlay.
