are to turn the gay supporters away & turn the GLBT people against each other? I just don't see any other reason why they would act in such a childish manner.

The intention is to disrupt the site, cause those being cloned to no longer visit the site, cause others to view the person being cloned in a negative light, cause confusion in order to have the legitimate and original person being reported as the impersonator, and to get satisfaction by seeing some people being fooled by the clones questions and/or answers and getting satisfaction from seeing the reactions of other users.
