Yes of course its sexual abuse. When I was 11, I was sexually abused by a girl of 12 after a game of Kiss chase.
I liked it very much, her name was Linda.
It happened standing up in a derelict house in Baldwin Street. My knees went all wobbly & I was ever so worried because I thought the whole world knew about it.
It took me 3 years to get over that experience & from then on there was no turning back.

I don't know any official definition of what you describe.
They were both children, so I would not have thought it would be classed as sexual abuse.
Your "confessor" is clearly concerned about it, and, if she is, might, or might not, benefit from counselling.
She should be cautious though, because that avenue might lead into roads that she would be better off not going down.
In all probability, if she just gets on with her life, she'll be fine.
Unless, of course, she wishes to abuse 9-10 year old boys now, in which case she definitely needs help.
You've added details, which disturb me enormously.
This girl is not, as I thought, some friend who has confided in you, but a member of a group.
You have no right whatever to bring this into this forum.
I find myself in agreement with Not Ecky Boy entirely.
You really might consider if you should be a part of that group.

Hi, I am a law student and yes it is sexual abuse. One, did the boy even want for her to touch him? Also the law is that under the age of 16 a person can not give the opposite sex permission to engage in intercourse. So whether he gave her permission or not she was sexually abused..Not that I agree to a certain extent but in this case I do...He was a minor and she took advantage of that...A 10 yr old doesn't know what they're doing...

Notice how there's many 'thumbs down' for answerers of the question (no matter which side of the pond they're on)...does that not show how confused we are at the whole is it/is it not question of bairns who 'do it' between the age of nine and, say, 15? Not to sure where you hail from, but I suspect most of the answerers are from the UK! I know...not an answer, as such, but when a question like this comes on, more interested I am with the answerers than the questioner!

I cant believe some of the shitte Iv read on here about this, yes she was assaulted regardless of her/ his age. I was raped by a family member when I was 5, he was only 7, I didnt consent and was locked in a room with him until he did what he wanted, and yes he knew what he was doing and where to put it before anyone criticises, I never told anyone, but my mum found out after I got a water infection. This woman needs councilling not dismissing.

Yes, it is sexual abuse. Any sexual act that happened against the will of the other person is sexual abuse. The age of the victim and perpetrator is irrelevant.
I know 10 is a bit young, but you will be surprised to know that many kids - although they dont know the meaning of sex - are involved in sexual acts. Maybe because they havce been abused themselves, maybe they are affected by sexual abuse and think it is normal.

its certainly underage sex, but wether a girl can be judged as comitting sex abuse depends upon the circumstances. If she is working with other children etc. i would be extremely careful. If the act was forced she is guilty of abuse.

It is classed more as ignorance and exploration. Someone who has only been alive for twelve years can't be expected to make sound adult decisions, that is why the law is so lenient on juvenile offenders.

They basically had sexual relationships since they both were like almost the same age.AND it is not classified as sexual abused/or rape if the boy DID want her to do it.

you should not worry if it is truth or not you have an obligation to report it if its not true she needs mental help for thinking things like that if it is true she needs to be in jail you have to decide if it is right or wrong for you not just legal if you find it wrong turn her in sex with a child is wrong even if it is another child
