I believe that love exsist without marriage. You marry to show the other that you are commited to that person. Love happens before marriage.

My personal view on this subject is this, I always test drive a car before I commit to a contract. I always try on a pair of shoes before I give the cashier my money. I also feel that I should "test drive" my man before I commit to a marriage because people really can be incompatible sexually and that would simply suck to not be compatible sexually with a spousee. I also insist on living with a possible spous before hand to see if he can see me at my worst, first time in the morning and still accept me. Can he deal with me when I am PMSing? Can I put up with his manly habits (farting, burping, dirty underware on the floor, etc.) and still think he's the greatest. My new husband and I were married almost 2 months ago, we lived together for 10 months prior to marriage and it was the best move we ever made. We are happier than ever and I know just how lucky I am to have my baby!! ;-)
Mary
PS
I know some people disagree with sex before marriage or living together before marriage but this is 2007 and times have changed.

Statistics prove that sex before marriage has no affect on the durability of the marriage. If you are a virgin remember that you are giving that part of yourself to the guy that you can never give anyone else. Besides, when you get married and the only thing you have look forward to is buying furniture it takes some of the magic out of the day. We both waited till marriage. We are still married.

I had sex before I was married. I was only 17 at the time. My father just died and I was in a state of confusion. I that I loved the guy but after we started having sex the relationship was never the same. I went out with this guy for 3 yrs and he was my best friend before hand. Now we don't even talk anymore.

Sex is a normal human drive and emotional, biological need. When puberty sets in and a person starts feeling "driven" to experiemnt with sex,it's time. Make sure you're safe, and guard against preggers, but any age between like 12 to 15 is normal. Dont confuse a god given fun and wonderful thing, with a "sin" - I mean, can you imagine how horrible it would be to miss out on years of great sex (and no one knows when our time will come why die a virgin) and going into marriage so ignorant and scared on the wedding night?

There is a big difference in Sex and Marriage. Sex is just a physical behavior and Marriage is a physical and emotional desire. After marriage is best but I don't think anyone is going to Hell just because they had sex before marriage.

Both. I still believe it's wrong to have sex outside of marriage, but did it anyway.

Before I was married....I was raped as a child ..so I didn't really have reason not to have sex before marriage.
I think even without that happening I would of had sex before marriage anyway.

Before but I wished I waited because sex complicates things, you're emotionally attached to that person so that's why it makes sense to only share that with the person you plan on spending the rest of your life with.
