Popularity is a label. Alot of people portray popular kids as ones who are beautiful, hot or sexy. Weirdness is also a label or state of mind. Why do you want to be popular? To impress everyone? Just be yourself, people who act themselves move up a lot faster than a faker.

depends on how wierd.
take it from me, you don't want to be in the popular crowd. just be who you are unless something is seriously wrong with you then change. the popular crowd may look perfect but remember the higher you go up , the longer the fall down is going to be. They are just as insecure as the next person and will want things in return for the "favor" they did you by letting you join

Weird has it's charms. Just be yourself and develop a good sense of humor. Be friendly and others will like you. Nothing to it. Takes a little effort but it's not that difficult.
Later... It's interesting to see how many of us have a thumbs down compared to the two folks who don't. Now how does that happen? Hmmm... Everything is a competition nowadays...

i can tell you this, you don't want to be around the ppl that call you weird. if the popular ppl are calling you weird then you definitely don't want to be part of them. i think that you'd be surprised to find that you are in the majority, that there are millions of teenagers (i'm assuming that you're a teenager, i have a teenager) who think they are or have been told they are weird when in actuality they aren't. you aren't weird, they are the minority. in most schools they are only a handful of the popular ppl making them the minority. everyone else is normal, just like you. why be a part of a bunch of haters? love yourself, good luck!

You need to find out what makes you weird? Perhaps you are doing something to annoy everbody?! Try to be nice and I'm sure they'll come round. Just be natural and dont try too hard to be cool cause then your never cool.

get a makeover...not only will you be more confident..but you'll look cute too!!
Try observing how the "popular" girls act with their friends..guys..total strangers..etc.
anddd get a new wardrobe...getting new clothes and accessories is sooo refreshing..an fun!!
