It seems like in the newer Scooby shows and in the movies he barks, I have been a Scooby fan for years, and I don't recall him barking as much in the older shows as he does now. Does Scooby seem to bark more now than he did in the past? I wonder why?

They think he should be more dog-like I guess. Plus, he had a weak bark that didn't really sound like a dog back in those older shows.
