Simplicity - the meaning of the song lyrics and the music itself (all three chords) are easy to understand. There is deep meaning to the words...as is the case of most Dylan songs.

And that isn't even one of his best songs. You look at the songs on Freewheelin' and you realize, that by age 21, Dylan was able to write songs better then almost anyone.

i love bob dylan, but i don't like the song. I don't know why everyone likes it! i love other songs so much more
