How to fix the computer when theres a message that says:

"Disk read error has occured Press Ctrl+Alt+del to restart"

i tried to restart a lot of times but it still show up.

please help

According to your description,there may have some regsitry errors in your PC to cause "Disk read error ".You need to clean you PC.

Hey man, if I were you i would re-install your OS and choose the setting to save the Documents and Settings folder so you don't loose any documents/user accounts. This will restore the computer to the factory setting,(you need the restore disk that came with the computer or your totally screwed.) it deletes all programs you installed so be very careful dude.

This could be a hard drive failure. If it is only a corrupted boot file, it is possible to save it. Often it just goes bad and you must get a new one.
